- Collecting your wrisTICKET: All wrisTICKETs will be provided at the door on the day(s) of the festival and will be subject to proof of a valid photo ID (eg: Drivers License) and confirmation of receipt of payment.
- ID/ PROOF OF PURCHASE: Please bring your e-ticket or PayPal receipt. Show photo ID/Drvers License.
- REFUNDS/ EXCHANGES: No refunds for lost wrisTICKETs, or any other refunds or exchanges and tickets non-transferable.
- Onsite ticket purchase is available in cash or credit cards at the door on the day of the event, if not sold out.
ANANDA FEST Participant Waiver
I am a voluntary participant in an outdoor yoga event (the “Event”) known as “ANANDA FEST” produced by Alegna Corporate Events Inc. on July 30 - 31, Loretto Maryholme, Roches Point, Keswick (Town of Georgina), ON.
I recognize that the Event involves strenuous outdoor physical activity including, but not limited to, yoga and other fitness activities. I hereby affirm that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any known disability or condition which would prevent or limit my participation in any of the programming offered. I understand that the event will take place outdoors without protection from the elements, including direct sun, rain, wind, and other elements. I acknowledge that my participation in the Event is purely voluntary and at my own risk, will and volition.
In consideration of my participation in the Event, I, my heirs and assigns hereby release Ananda Fest, Alegna Corporate Events Inc., Loretto Maryholme Spirituality Centre, and each party’s parents, subsidiaries, agents and
assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any claim, liability, demand, and cause of action that may arise now or in the future as a result of my voluntary participation in the Event, specifically including, but not limited to, heart attacks, muscle strains pulls or tears, broken bones, shin splints, heat prostration, sunburn, or any other loss, damage, illness or injury that I may incur in connection with the Event, directly or indirectly, including death.
In the event of an emergency or other incident in which, in the sole reasonable judgment of the Released Parties or other medical personnel, I require medical care or other related services, I hereby consent to such treatment.
I understand and agree that any and all medical and/or other services rendered to me by or at the insistence of any Released Party is not an admission of liability to provide or continue to provide any such services and is not a waiver by any Released Party of any right hereunder.
I hereby irrevocably authorize Ananda Fest to use photographs and audiovisual recordings of me and/or my property and authorize Ananda Fest’s assignees, licensees, legal representatives and transferees to use and publish (with or without my name, company name, or with a fictitious name) any audiovisual recordings, photographs, pictures, portraits or images captured at or around the Event in any and all forms and media and in all manners, including, but not limited to, composite images and distorted representations, and for the purposes of publicity, illustration, commercial art, advertising, publishing (including publishing in electronic form in CDs or internet websites), for any product or services, or other lawful uses as may be determined by Ananda Fest.
I further waive any and all rights to review or approve any uses of the images, any written copy or finished product. I am of full legal age and have read and fully understand the terms of this release.
I EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT THE FOREGOING RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY IS INTENDED TO BE AS BROAD AND AS INCLUSIVE AS IS PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND THAT IF ANY PORTION HEREOF IS HELD INVALID, IT IS AGREED THAT THE BALANCE SHALL, NOTWITHSTANDING, CONTINUE IN FULL LEGAL FORCE AND EFFECT.
I AM AT LEAST EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD AND HAVE CAREFULLY READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM ASSUMING THE FULL RISK OF, AND RELEASING AND HOLDING HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM, ANY INJURY, DEATH OR DAMAGE CONNECTED IN ANY WAY WITH MY PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT. I FURTHER AGREE THAT NO ORAL REPRESENTATIONS, STATEMENTS OR INDUCEMENTS ON THE SUBJECT MATTER HEREOF APART FROM THIS WRITTEN AGREEMENT HAVE BEEN MADE. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN ME AND THE RELEASED PARTIES THAT GOVERNS OUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
